BLUE HILL TOWNSHIP
Blue Hill Township is located in north central Sherburne County, Minnesota, United States. Blue Hill Township was presumably settled in 1856. It was organized in 1877, having previously been a part of Baldwin Township. Blue Hill Township is named after a lone hill in the Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge, called Blue Mound, which rises about 75 feet above the surrounding county and can be seen from a great distance. In recent years the population has increased from 762 (2000 census) to 2507 (2020 census).
